Dutch Oven Culinary Specialists

Troop 76 encourages our Scouts and Scouters to always prepare
healthy meals on each activity. Opening a can as a full meal
or a packaged pastry is not in keeping with
a healthy start to the rest of the day!

Our DOCS requirements require the applicant
to cook enough meals and contents to prove his ability to use a Dutch Oven.
He must also submit the shopping list and
preparation of what he has done
and break down the per serving cost.

He must also clean his equipment, including the Dutch Oven, as he finishes with them.

Upon successful completion of the requirements,
a red DOCS tee shirt and patch are awarded to each.
